The Zebras came out with discipline and determination and executed a strong performance on all ends of the field. Throughout the first half Middlesex dominated the play and controlled possession generating strong offensive opportunities. However, Exeter got onto the board first in the second half off of a fluky deflection inside the box and followed shortly after with a quick counter-attack as Middlesex pressed offensively. Nonetheless, Middlesex continued to carry the play and once again generated remarkable offensive chances off of crossbars and near misses on corners. However, Exeter again struck and capitalized on its third goal while Middlesex pressed on to close the gap within the final minute by Ellery Winkler '19. The Zebras will use their next practice to recover and rejuvenate and to prepare for another tough battle against Pingree on Friday, November 4th at 3:15 PM.
