A competitive rivalry match closed out the ISL season for the host, St. George's, and their visitors, Middlesex.  Though not aesthetically pleasing, as the ball spent more time in the air than on the ground, Middlesex did just enough to earn the 1-0 road victory.  After a tight, yet scoreless, first half that saw a St. George's tally disallowed for an offside call and great chances narrowly missed by Middlesex's Cole Whisnand, Matthew Benedict, and Liam Sloan, the only goal was scored ten minutes into the second half.  Jack Lousararian won a loose ball and surged into the final third before hitting a perfectly placed strike from 25 yards out with his left foot that nestled into the side net.  A slew of St. George's dead balls and long throws into the Middlesex box tested the result, but the Middlesex back line was strong in dealing with them to preserve the shutout.
