Middlesex came out strong against an athletic Rivers team and went up 1-0 after a strong shot from outside the 18 by Isabelle Fuchs '17. However, the Zebras were unable to hold the lead and conceded a goal to go into halftime 1-1. From there, Middlesex struggled to sustain its intensity and conceded another goal from a team defensive breakdown to go down by one. Middlesex rallied in the final 10 minutes and generated numerous opportunities, but they were unable to even the score. Middlesex will get back to work and put two strong practices together to prepare for another tough I.S.L match-up against Thayer Academy in Braintree, Mass. on Saturday October 29th at 3:00 PM
