A rare Tuesday afternoon tilt saw Governor's Academy travel to Concord, Mass. to face off with Middlesex in boys' soccer. After a frenetic opening period, Middlesex found the back of the net in the 10th minute, as Reed Foster capitalized on a penetrating pass from James Sanderson. Will Chamberlain pressed the lead to 2-0 in the 31st minute with a hard working finish. Gavin Garrity-Rokous was rewarded for his strong defensive work with a volleyed finish on a corner kick in the 36th minute. Nine minutes after the start of the second stanza, it was Jacob Charles' turn, as he volleyed home inside of the penalty area. Josh Quirk made it 5-0 in the 57th minute with a strike from the top of the box. Keepers Kenyon Pelletier (72 minutes) and Zach Suazo (18 minutes) shared the shutout for Middlesex.
