The Middlesex Boys' Basketball nearly upended Milton Academy on Saturday afternoon on the Bentley University campus. Middlesex found itself down 52-50 late in the game. Unfortunately, a few turnovers and timely three-point shooting by Milton led to 16-4 run to close out the game.
MX was led by its seniors, Brandon Shaw, who had 20 points and Austin Dorsey, who posted 14. Sophomore Michael Doherty had 8 points and senior Gavin Tasker, drawing the first start of his career, had 5 points to go with a strong defensive effort.
MX will return home for the first time since the Huckins-Rouse Tournament on December 20 on Wednesday, when the team hosts Roxbury Latin at 5:00PM.
