While resting both captains Gavin Fujimori and Nick Agee, the wrestling team was in control over the ISL foe Lawrence Academy on Wednesday January 13th.  The final score was Middlesex 60  Lawrence Academy 18.

Led by victories from seniors Jivan Purutyan and Alex Wagner, both excellent in their positions and both netting pins for the team, the wrestlers continued their undefeated season.

Notable victories were notched by sophomores Ameye Shere with a second period pin and Michael Acevedo who has picked up the pace to begin the new year.  Another sophomore, Ted Pyne showed skill and strength to win by pin in less than 30 seconds.

David Wong got back on the winning track with a come-from-behind victory.  Down 0-2 in the first period, he was able to escape and reverse his opponent getting the pin and 6 points for the team.

Excellent exhibition matches were won by Chris Fashek, Justin D'Alessandro, Max Rogers and Kojo Edzie to wind up the successful afternoon.
