Middlesex outshot Concord Academy 22-1 on the day, but it was an own goal that broke the deadlock in the 65th minute, as senior Gavin Tasker's cross was put in the back of the net by a Concord Academy defender.  Senior Caleb Michalak put in an excellent defensive performance, as the Zebra backline did not allow a single shot until the 79th minute and junior Zach Suazo earned his first clean sheet of the season. Liam Sloan led the midfield with solid work rate and ball movement.
