The Zebras took control of the game from the first draw as junior Emma Fehnel charged down the field and scored just 20 seconds into the game. Senior Claire Miller, junior Hannah Saghir, and Fehnel added three more unanswered goals in less than three minutes to set Brooks back on their heels. Although Brooks got on the board with 20:17 remaining, the defensive unit had trouble stopping the balanced Zebra attacking unit as both sophomore Kat French and senior Kat Barry also added goals in the first half, giving Middlesex a strong 10-4 lead at the half. While the teams traded goals in the second half, Middlesex still maintained the six goal lead thanks to goals from freshman Marina Bevacqua (her career first!) and freshman Maddie MacMaster.
