A defensive battle from start to finish, the exciting game between visiting BB&N and Middlesex fell in the Zebra's favor.  In the first minutes of play, the Knights scored first, but Middlesex answered with three goals to take the lead.  The defensive unit led by seniors Nat Zaffiro and Diana Uhrig made several defensive stops, giving the offense several scoring opportunities.  The play was a bit sloppy between the 30s, resulting in many turnovers for both teams and a low 4-3 score at halftime.  In the second half, the Knights' goalie made several stunning saves, keeping Middlesex off the scoreboard for the first sixteen minutes of play.  The Knights notched two goals to take a 5-4 lead with 11:52 remaining in the half, but the Zebras defense unit stiffened and their effort, combined with the solid play of goalie DeSimone, shut out the Knights for the remainder of the game.  In the offensive unit, seniors C.Mills and KB Barry took control and rallied their teammates.  With 9:18 remaining in the second half, the Zebras notched the tying goal, and exactly two minutes later, Herring found the back of the net for the go-ahead goal.  Once again, Zaffiro came up with the game winning draw control to give the Zebras possession and ultimately, the victory.  The attacking unit combined for a beautiful goal with one second left on the clock to seal the win 7-5.
