The Middlesex Girls' Varsity Tennis team lost their match 3 - 12 against Nobles Saturday. The match was played at the Nobles courts with sunny skies and temperatures in the high 50s.
Despite the overall match loss, each Middlesex player demonstrated marked improvement from last year's match against this team. Junior Abby Meyers at #4 singles won the tiebreaker on her first set and kept that momentum going to swiftly take the second set 6 - 2. Also scoring for Middlesex was doubles team Electra Washburn '15 and Emma Pratt '16, winning their nail-biting match 9 - 7.
The team felt they learned a lot from their match and look forward to facing Milton on Wednesday.
