After a two week layoff due to cancellations, the Middlesex Zebras had an intense back and forth game that came down to the wire.  The team played strong defense and lead most of the way in the first half.  Sophomore Ari Odom led scorers with 11 pts, powering the team with eight in the first half.  The team lost a little focus at the end of the half and went into the locker room trailing 23-24.  The team came out flat in the second half and fell quickly down by six.  Throughout the second half the team slowly crawled it's way back into the game, getting to within one.  Fatigue led to a great number of turnovers in the last quarter of the game and many missed opportunities.   Despite losing the game, the team battled with pride and stayed together as a unit.  Junior Ericka added eight points and tremendous rebounding to the cause and Senior captain Jenna Doherty generated several steals off of her ball pressure.  Freshman Maria Shaw contributed solid on-ball defense in the first half to the cause.  Despite losing the game, the team battled with pride and stayed together as a unit.
