Middlesex hit the road for a perennial battle against Milton Academy. The Zebras were slow coming out of the gates and lost many of the initial 50/50 battles and played back on their heels. Milton's first goal came off of a miscommunication in the back. Middlesex responded with an increased urgency, but the Zebras could not maintain possession. Milton netted their second goal from a shot outside the eighteen that squeezed in just under the crossbar. Middlesex was able to string together some offensive chances with strong performances by Jac '17, Natalie '15, Shannon '16, and Eliza '17. However, the Zebras entered halftime down by two. The halftime talk centered on playing with more urgency and winning the little battles on the field.
