It was a difficult day on the courts for boys' varsity tennis.

Middlesex took a while to get going; Groton took three of three doubles matches. However, the singles matches were a different story. Senior Anthony Bergren-Salinas took both singles sets. Freshman John Lathrop did likewise. The match was very close until the end and had a few serves, bounces, and ad-points gone differently, the outcome of the day may have gone in favor of Middlesex.

The boys fought valiantly and should be proud of themselves for forcing one of the top teams in the league to play exceptional tennis. Middlesex will look to bounce back next week.
