Under threatening skies, the boys' varsity tennis team hosted St. George's on Friday, May 23 for their final match of the 2014 season.

The match came down to the last few points. We began the afternoon with singles--which is unorthodox, but given the weather and the late start time, we had to get as many points completed as we could. By the time singles ended MX and St. George's were tied 6-6.

Doubles proved to be just as close. Juniors Tim Wing and David Fan finished their season well with a good victory at #2 doubles. The match came down #1 doubles. Freshman Jon Lathrop and senior Jon Luke Tittman played an incredible match but lost in a tie break. It was a long match but very well fought by both teams. 

I want to thank our seniors who played in their last match today. Their hard work, love for the game, and leadership will be missed; we wish them well as they embark on the next chapters of their lives.
