Baseball Returns to Winning Ways

Seniors Joe Frye and Max Novick each drove in four runs to lead Middlesex to a 14-4 win over Brooks in ISL baseball on Wednesday.

Middlesex pounded out a season 14 hits in the game, including three each by Novick and Ben Cherington. Drew Coash, Aaaron Swenson, Justin White and Frye had two each. Novick hit a three run homer, his second homer of the season.

Cherington pitched 5 2/3 innings to get the win, giving up just two earned runs.

Middlesex hosts undefeated Belmont Hill on Saturday.
