After winning an exciting 3-2 game against Pingree the night before, the boys' varsity ice hockey team succumbed to the fatigue of a four-game week and dropped a 6-2 decision to Rivers on Saturday.

Tied at 2-2 after the second period, junior goaltender Tristan Collins held down the fort for Middlesex with Eric Shaw and Brian Powers each adding tallies to keep Middlesex in the game. Rivers took control of the third and final period however, and as a result came away with the 6-2 victory.

In the final week of the regular season, the Zebras return to action on Wednesday when they face Groton at home for a 3:00pm ISL contest.
