In what was a thrilling game versus Thayer Academy on Monday evening. The Zebras fell just short, losing 35-37.
Poor foul shooting hindered Middlesex as they entered the half time down 22-12. Middlesex clawed back into the game with some hot shooting by Freshman Ari Odom who hit three three- pointers in a row on her way to scoring a teamhigh 14 points. Freshman Lydia Paddock contributed to the cause by putting in her season high six points. Junior point guard Kathryn Barry showed poise and patience in running the offense and was able to get to the paint numerous times and draw fouls on Thayer.
The effort put forth by the team was terrific and they competed with tremendous pride and class. The team needs to rally in order to prepare themselves for rival Groton
on Wednesday. As it is the last home game of the season, it will be Senior Day as we honor Charlotte Silk and Tori Burke's contributions to the program.
