The Middlesex Boys' Varsity Ice Hockey team was defeated by the 8th ranked (US Hockey Report) Dexter School 9-1 at home. Middlesex took an early 1-0 lead with an unassisted goal by Tabor Smith at 6:18 of the first period on an brilliant effort and the period ended with Middlesex leading 1-0.

Dexter came to life in the second period scoring two power play goals in the second period and never looked back. Middlesex returns to action at Brooks on Wednesday, December, 10 at 2:30 PM.
