Middlesex traveled to BB&N for the last Wednesday matchup of the ISL season. A defensive slip in the 22
nd minute allowed a BB&N counter-attacker to play a ball to the near post where it was flicked over keeper Dan Carlson for the 1-0 lead. BB&N were allowed to extend the lead in the 49
th minute where a mix up along the baseline led to a tap in for the Knights and a 2-0 lead.

Though Middlesex possessed the ball for very long stretches of the match, not allowing BB&N many touches in the attacking half, this did not translate into the types of scoring chances that Middlesex has been used to creating this season. The dominance was let down by two costly mistakes and a lack of quality in the final third. The disappointing performance drops Middlesex to 9-4-1 in the ISL and 10-4-2 overall with only St. George's left to play on the road on Friday, November 7th. Â
