The Middlesex boys' varsity ice hockey team tied Groton school 3-3
on Saturday, January 18 at the Groton rink.
 Eric Shaw led Middlesex, scoring the first goal off a face-off in the Groton zone.
Ben Franks tied the game at 2-2 to start the third period but Groton was able to capitalize on one of their efforts a short time later. With Groton leading the game 3-2, Harrison Markel scored a power-play goal with just over a minute to play to send the game into overtime.
Middlesex outshot Groton 45-34. Goalie Derek Goguen had 32 saves on the afternoon to preserve the tie.
