Groton Blanks Middlesex

Groton scored seven runs in the first two innings and cruised to an easy 8-0 win over Middlesex on Saturday afternoon in Concord, MA.

Shoddy defense and walks contributed to most of the Groton's offense. Kai Long and Joe Frye did combine for 5 2/3 innings of one run relief out of the Middlesex bullpen.

Middlesex falls to 2-7 on the season with the loss and will look to rebound against Roxbury Latin on Wednesday.
