Middlesex Golf’s home opener took place this past Wednesday at Concord Country Club, hosting two of the top teams in the ISL, Governors and Thayer. Against Thayer, Middlesex fared well, with wins coming from Nick Kafker ’13, Billy Olson ’13, Camden Blatchly ’15, and ties from James McGrath ’16 and David McGrath 14’. Middlesex defeated Thayer 4-3. Against Governors, however, with wins only coming from Camden Blatchly ’15, Nick Kafker ’13, and Billy Olson ’13, Middlesex was unable to secure a victory, falling by a close score of 4-3. The team remains 3-2 on the season.
