After an exhilarating team win on Saturday, Middlesex regrouped after a long weekend of rest to hit the road to take on the mighty Mustangs of Milton Academy for another strong team victory.

Isabel ‘13 got the Zebras on the board first within 45 seconds of the half. From there Middlesex took control of the game with Claire ’15, Clare ’13 and Jeanie ’13 securing the lead  by combining for several goals, putting the Zebras up 6-3 going into halftime.

Middlesex continued their attack with more precision in the second half. However, the mighty Mustangs proved resilient capitalizing on some turnovers to get within three goals, but Hannah ’16, Ali ’14, Emma ‘16 scored strong goals to help the Zebras stay on top. Defensively, the Zebras held tight with strong play by Talya, Diana and Sarah in goal to secure the first team win on the road.

The Zebras look forward to carrying the momentum into Saturday’s game against another ISL rival Thayer Academy at 1:30pm.
