On senior recognition night, (the last home match for the dedicated senior wrestlers), Middlesex students, parents and faculty filled the cathedral wrestling room with the largest crowd of the year.

Not to disappoint, the team steadily put points on the board over a shorthanded Thayer team to put the final score out of reach and into the victory column.

Great matches by Hunt H. '13 at 113lbs, and Gabe S. '15, were examples of great conditioning and ability to control  their opponents. Both added pins to the team score.Later in the match, Andrew Z. '16 would continue to show athleticism and skill as he pinned his opponent in the second period.Finally, senior captain, Thad P. '13 would show how to overcome obstacles. With a new cut near his cheek he  wrestled with the infamous Mask, (worn by only a few MX wrestlers to stay in the competition with a face injury). He pinned his opponent in a close match, in the third period to finish off the duel meet.

JV matches were won by, Chris '15 at 160 lbs, Jivan '16 at 132 lbs, and Wesley '13 at 152 lbs.
Also, Caleb '16 won his exhibition match at 120 lbs.
