St. George's visited MX for Girls' Varsity Squash's last home match of the season. St. George's proved too tough for the Zebras at the top two spots, but Middlesex pulled out a series of close matches to win the the remaining positions and triumph 5-2.

The match was exciting and dramatic throughout, with many twists and turns, and closer than the final score indicates. In their last matches at MX, seniors Emma Satterthwaite Muresianu (#3) and Anita Kodali (#7) won 3-0 and 3-1 respectively; Anita, though down game point in the fourth game four times, won the game and her match dramatically 14-12 in the fourth. Junior Olivia Dewey (#6) triumphed 3-0, pulling out a very tight third game 14-12. Sophomore Katie Bull (#4) won a see-saw match in which she won the first game handily, lost a close second, won an easy third, and, though four times down game point, triumphed in the fourth game by the score of 14-12 once again!  Sophomore Zarena Jafry won her match 3-0.

Playing their last home matches, Charlotte Cabot (#1) and Jessica Perkins (#2) fought valiantly but could not overcome some very skillful opponents.
