Middlesex (3-1, 1-0)  started their game against Governor's on a 7-0 run and never looked back. 

MX notched their first ISL win of the year behind the efforts of co-captains John Siu (21 points and four rebounds) and Aaron Swenson (16 points and four assists).  Junior Ben Cherington made two three-pointers for eight points, senior Pete Beatty contributed five points and nine rebounds, and sophomore Jack Lyne had nine rebounds and four blocked shots.

After taking a 23-16 lead at the half, MX started the second half with eight consecutive points by Siu.  The lead would stay around 10 for most of the way until a flurry of three-point plays broke open the game including the first varsity points for junior Khari King.
