Middlesex hosted the Bishops from Brooks on Saturday in another I.S.L match-up.
Middlesex came out strong controlling possession for most of the first half. The Zebras moved the ball quickly and won the physical battles and executed its team oriented system well. However, with five minutes left in the half, the Bishops capitalized off of a corner kick to go up by one. As Middlesex worked to refocus and regroup, the Bishops managed to find the net again to go into the half up by two.
The Zebras took to the field after the half rallying to get back into the game however, Brooks had some momentum and possession and were able to score again. Despite the loss, Middlesex played well and continues to improve and come together as a cohesive unit.
The Zebras look forward to another tough battle when they travel to Byfield on Wednesday October 9
th to take on defending league champions, Governor's Academy at 3pm.
