The Middlesex girls' cross-country team took advantage of the empty campus as other teams played away games to host Lawrence in our penultimate regular-season race of the season.

 The team ran well, with Mahal Alvarez-Backus leading the 29 Middlesex finishers as she won her third race of the season, followed closely by teammate Nell Gallogly in second place.The entire Middlesex varsity seven finished ahead of the fourth runner from Lawrence.

 The JV pack continued to set an example of speed, consistency, and togetherness, finishing eight runners within 1:00 of each other and ahead of the Lawrence #8 (1st JV).  Polly Meesuwandecha had a great race and posted a significant improvement to her time.  Team manager Emily Jiang and captain Julia Donnell led a great effort in the administration of the race.
