Middlesex faced a resilient and organized St. Sebastian's squad on the turf in Dedham and emerged with a 3-0 win.
St. Sebastian's blend of technical youth and experienced leadership made for a very competitive first half that ended in a 0-0 draw. Both teams used the half time to recharge and prepare for battle.

Middlesex pressed well in the second half and moved the ball quickly through Jivan Purutyan and Liam Sloan to find space moving into the attacking half.  The scoring opened with a fortuitous set piece played into the box by Sean Pensavalle that was redirected into the net by an unfortunate defender for the 1-0 lead in the 62nd minute.

In the 79th minute senior captain Teddy Rausch was playing the ball on the left flank and he curled a service that found its way into the far side net just under the crossbar for the 2-0 advantage.  Then, in the 88th minute sophomore Gavin Tasker was sprung behind the midfield by Jivan Purutyan and he proceeded to beat two on the dribble and open his hips to finish in the side net for the decisive 3-0 score line.

Both teams pressed hard and played with a positive spirit while keeping a clean disciplinary record on the day.The team now improves their record to 3-3-4 and faces Rivers on the road next.
