In a contest that saw most of the play in the middle third and little in the final third, Middlesex and Belmont Hill battled to a 0-0 draw in a midweek ISL tilt. 

Both sets of defenders deserved the credit for the result, as the chances were few and far between.  Emmett Gordon and Josh Fischer were dangerous on the counterattack for Belmont Hill and Daniel Parnell came closest on two occasions to scoring for Middlesex.

In the end, the match lacked the critical final ball or clinical finish to break the deadlock.  Senior goalkeeper Will Golonka recorded his second shutout for Belmont Hill while junior Dan Carlson recorded his fourth clean sheet for Middlesex.

The team will travel to Needham, MA on Saturday, October 19 to face St. Sebastian's at 2:15pm
