It was a great day for the Middlesex softball team as they picked up their first victory of the season against Pingree on their home field.

The Zebras got started early in the first inning, scoring 2 runs against Pingree and holding them at zero. Middlesex had great consistent catches in the outfield by sophomore Maddie M and our infield was on point making a great double play in the the top of the 5th inning. 

It was a good day for pitcher Caitlin '13, who had struck out 8 players by the end of the game.

Senior captain Jordan however, made this a notable game hitting not only one, but two home runs (in the 1st and 5th inning).  We finished the game with a win of 5-3.
