Middlesex came out focused and fired up against Governor's, arguably the best team in the ISL. In the top of the first inning Jordan Juron ripped a double off the fence in center-field. Ashley Arnold drove her in with bunt base hit to third base. The game was intense and it was well played by both teams. Jordan continued her outstanding play and made three web jem defensive plays to keep Middlesex in the game. Governor's fought back and eventually imposed their will. Middlesex fought hard until the end and succumbed to Governor's 7-2.
