Senior captain Michael ended his Middlesex career with a flourish as he laced a two out single to center field in the bottom of the seventh inning to provide the winning run in a 3-2 walk-off victory over St. George's on Saturday. The win was Middlesex's first over St. George's since 2009.

Middlesex freshman right-hander Ben and St. George's lefty Sam Alofsin engaged in a pitcher's duel and the game was scoreless until the bottom of the fifth when Middlesex shortstop Aaron hit a two run double to Middlesex on top 2-0. St. George's got one back in the top of the sixth and the score stood at 2-1 heading to the top of the seventh inning. Middlesex went to its bullpen for  Joe  '14  but St. George's tied the game on a sacrifice fly.

The winning rally in the last of the seventh was started by Max  who singled and took second on a balk before he was sacrificed to third by Drew. After a strikeout and a walk, the stage was set for Michael, who lined a 3-1 pitch to center to score Max and win the game for Middlesex.
