Focused and determined, the Zebras progressed nicely from two "short/sharp" practices to claim a solid win over BB&N.
From the first whistle, Middlesex dominated the game and practiced a patient and fast-moving attack motion. The defensive unit shut down several BB&N attacking opportunities anchored by "Beeko" '14. The attackers showed poise and unselfish play and converted on several scoring opportunities to finish the half 8-1.
BB&N came back with two unanswered goals in the second half, but the Zebras adjusted and notched five goals to BB&N's zero. "Reno" '14 earned two terrific assists on the day, "Bro-wena" '14 scored her first Middlesex career goal, and "CMills" '15 notched her second career goal off an unselfish play set up by "Batie" '12.
