The two Zebra squads played on the turf during a soggy Friday afternoon.  Middlesex took a considerable lead in the first half with several goals from "Tink" '13, "Katnip" '13, "Burns" '12, and "Hads" '12.  Groton capitalized on a few defensive breakdowns around the 18 minute mark, closing the score to 13-9, but that would be Groton's final tally of the day as Middlesex adjusted and went on a scoring frenzy just 14 seconds after Groton's 9th goal.  The Middlesex Zebras went on to score 6 unanswered goals to finish the game and claim their 6th ISL win and 9th win overall.  "Katnip" picked up 7 draw controls and caused two turnovers while "Browena" '14 and "Batie" '12 combined for six contested ground balls.
