Coming off an intense and emotional game with Thayer, the Zebras were a bit sluggish in the first 15 minutes of play. The defensive/midfield unit combined for several caused turnovers, giving the Zebras possession, but the team struggled to capitalize on the opportunities.
In the second half, Middlesex traded goals with Lawrence, but stepped up their game in the offense. Three players posted their first Middlesex career goals: “Ali-oop” ’14 notched two goals, and Irene ’14 and “CMills” ’15 each added a point. Brooke ’14 added an assist, and “Bro-wena” ’14 , Juliana ’14, and “Freight” ’14 combined for six caused turnovers.
