The Zebras were a bit sloppy in the opening minutes of their game against Deerfield, but they adjusted and found their stride to capture their second win over a Class A rival. 

Deerfield struck first by hitting an open cutter in the first seven minutes of play.  Middlesex finally answered after shaking off the bus legs, with a goal from "Kat" '13 in the eleventh minute of play, but Deerfield again capitalized on a defensive error and took their final lead of the game, 2-1.  The Zebra attack found their groove and scored four goals to Deerfield's one as the half closed, 6-3. 

In the second half, the girls adjusted, encouraged each other and scored 5 goals, while the stingy defense only allowed one in the second half, anchored by goalie "Beeko" '14.

Middlesex returns to action on Wednesday, April 11 when they face St. Paul's for their first home game of the season.
