Freshman Eric S. got the Zebras on the scoreboard in the first period with his tenth goal of the season, assisted by Jr. Billy O.  Entering the third period down by two goals, the team took just five minutes into the period to knot the game at three goals.  Trailing 3 – 1, Jr. Mike M., blasted a slap shot from the left point to bring the Zebras to life and within a one goal deficit.  The goal was assisted by Jr. Billy O and Sr. Blake C on a well executed low to high zone exchange.  Twenty seconds later, Fr. Harrison M. sent a pass from below the goal line to Jr. AJ L at the red line who touch passed the biscuit to Jr. Chris J  who entered the blue line and snapped a laser to beat the St. George’s goalie, thus knotting the game at 3 – 3. 

The teams battled until the Dragons scored the eventual game winner with six minutes remaining in regulation.  The final  minutes of play were filled with close opportunities by the Zebras, however, the season ended with a disappointing 4 - 3 loss and a season split with their rival Dragons. This was a team that never quit and fought right to the end of every game this season and they did so again today!

They finish the 2011-2012 campaign with a final record of 12 – 9 & 1.
