The Brooks boys' varsity hockey team avenged their early season loss to Middlesex by handing the Zebras a 5 – 1 loss at Brooks. Without question, the MX team struggled with many of their key contributors in the stands nursing injuries.
The loss puts Middlesex at 4-4 in Eberhart League action and 9 – 5 overall for the season. The game started with MX grabbing a one goal lead in the first period. On the power play, junior Will K’s shot was deflected by the screening junior AJ L. and cleaned-up by senior Robbie P. who slammed home the loose puck. Brooks got on track in the second period scoring three goals and closed out the third with two power- play goals.
MX hosts Roxbury Latin at home on Wednesday, February 8 at 4:30pm.
