Middlesex tangled with rival Groton on the last home game of the season, and they celebrated the careers of the three senior captains Kathryn '12, Elizabeth '12, and Atiya '!2 who have been members of the team since freshman year.  Before the game, Coach DeGreeff offered reflections about each player to the assembled crowd, and the juniors presented the seniors and their parents with flowers.

After the tip off, Middlesex sprinted to a 13 to 4 lead before Groton got its bearing and adjusted to Middlesex's pressure.  Eventually, Groton tied the game and built a lead going into halftime with a 20 to 16 score.  In the second half, Middlesex lost it scoring rhythm and Groton added to its lead behind the stellar play of its center.  With full court pressure, Middlesex narrowed the gap to six points in the final two minutes, but was not able to get any closer as Groton hit its foul shots at the end.  

Middlesex was led by Elizabeth '12 and Jenna '15 who had 8 points a piece.  Kathryn '12 added 5, Clare '13 chipped in 4 with Atiya '12 and Charlotte contributing three points along with Kathryn '15 two.
