Middlesex defeated Groton on Wednesday behind the career high 28 points by Aaron S.  MX started slow on the road and trailed 8-1 to start the the game, when Aaron started his barrage scoring 15 of Middlesex first 23 points.  At halftime MX led 32-26.  

The 2nd half was controlled by MX with 2:28 remaining to play Tyson H. had a terrific 3 pt play and Mike W. appeared to have sealed the game with 2 free throws with :27 left.  Groton quickly answered with a 3pter to tie the game and force OT. 

Groton got the early lead on OT and led 70-68 when Aaron tossed a pass to John S. for a deep 3 pt basket.  Groton would answer with a 2pt fg before Aaron made 1of his 3 steals on the day that led to pressure made free throws by Tyson.  And the seesaw battle continued in OT as Groton scored again but Aaron immediately answered with the game winning basket.
