The Zebras and Lions tangled in Atkins Cage in another messy, hard fought battle.  In the beginning of the game, both teams struggled to finish with lots of missed opportunities and loose rebounds.  After being stuck at 6-6 for the first five minutes,  Middlesex slowly started to build a lead behind the scoring of six different players, and Captain Atiya '12 led all scorers with 7 points in the first half off drives and steals.  The Zebras headed into the locker room with a 21 to 12 lead.  

In the second half, Middlesex built a 30 to 15 lead behind the scoring of Clare '13, Kathryn '12, Kathryn '15, Atiya 12, and Elizabeth '12, and then St. Mark's clawed their way back into the game once Middlesex got into foul trouble late in the second half.  St. Mark's was 9 for 12 from the foul line as they brought the Middlesex lead down to single digits.  Elizabeth '12 was able to secure the game with four free throws after being fouled driving to the basket, as Middlesex held off St. Mark's late rally for the victory.  

Middlesex was led by Atiya '12 and Clare '13, both scoring nine points, and Elizabeth '12 and Kathryn '12 had six points each.  Charlotte '13, Kathryn '15, and Kassiani had 4, 2, and 1 respectively.
