Middlesex took on Kimball Union Academy in the championship game for the second year in a row, loosing a tough battle against a superior team.  In the first half, Middlesex quickly fell behind 17-3, and then the Lady Zebras woke up and closed the gap to 4 points behind balanced scoring from seven different players.  At the end of the half KUA was able to increase their lead to 7 points, but they were surprised at the energy and gumption of the Middlesex hoopsters.  The half time score was 22-29.  

In the second half, KUA was able to rediscover their perimeter offense after Middlesex had shut down their high flying guards in the first half, and Middlesex was simply not able to contain their inside and outside game.  To their credit, Middlesex played hard until the final buzzer with nine girls getting into the scoring column.  

Charlotte '14 and Elizabeth '12 led all scorers with 7 points each, and Kathryn '12 and Jenna '15 had five each.  Clare '13 had four, and Atiya '12 and Kathryn '15 had two points along with one each for Natalie '15 and Kassiani '13.

Kathyrn '12 was named to the All-Tournament Team for the second year in a row!
