Played First Team football and rowed crew for three years; captain of football and crew. Captain of between-seasons soccer team; president of the Middlesex Athletic Association. At Harvard, was captain and All-American on Harvard football on a team that was undefeated in three years; served as assistant coach of Harvard's 1920 Rose Bowl Team.
