Middlesex School Athletics

Stroke and captain of Middlesex crew, also played soccer and hockey. At Harvard he was stroke of the freshman light-weight crew and stroke of the light-weight varsity crew for 2 years. Stroke of junior varsity heavy-weight crew senior year. 1968 Olympic team in the straight four and in 1970 in the Pair of the World Championship team. Stroked the U.S. eight-man shell to an Olympic silver medal in 1972. Has continued rowing as a Master and is President of the United States Rowing Association.
