Won three letters in football, two in hockey, and two in baseball during his Middlesex career. Served as hockey captain in 1933. Scored 10 touchdowns in 6 games in 1932 football season. Football team was undefeated (19-0) during his years on the varsity. Played quarterback for the Springfield College freshman team. Transferred to Boston University and was the captain of the freshman hockey team.
