Five members of the Middlesex girls’ varsity ice hockey team came home with medals after playing in the US Nationals tournament this past weekend in Marlboro, MA.  Leah ’15, who plays for the U14 East Coast Wizards earned a silver medal after narrowly falling to Assabet 2-1 in overtime. Maddie ’14 and Ashley ’13 came home with the gold for Assabet’s U16 team after defeating the Buffalo Bison 3-2. Jordan ’12 and Cici ’14 also won the championship trophy for Assabet’s U19 program by topping Chicago Mission 3-2.   Jordan tallied two goals on the afternoon, while Maddie assisted the game winner to help lead their teams to victory.
